Review: Kiss Nail Dress

Happy 2014 everyone. Its been a while but here is something I've been playing with lately and wanted to share.  It is the Kiss Nail Dress. I bought these at CVS and paid about $6.50 for them, there were a few that were 50% off so I bought 3 in total. They were really easy to put on and take off and if you fit and apply them correctly on your nail, they last pretty well. There are a wide rage of sizes to choose from which really helps. If you are in between sizes though I would pick the size smaller so it will last longer and less likely to peel.
Excuse the sticker I tried to take off. These are in the design 28.
The package comes with 3 sets of different stickers and a small nail file. What I found helpful to size my nail was to take a pair of scissors and cut them individually out so I could see better what would work.
After I found what fit this is what it looked like. I then too the file and folded the nail sticker down and filed it in one direction. I was then left with this...
It was very simple to do and gave a great looks.
These did not peel at the edges like I have found with other nail sticker types.

I have tried other nail stickers from Sephora (I had a previous post back in August) and Sally Hansen. So far these are my favorite, but I may try to do Sally Hansen again now that I am better at applying them.

These are great for people that love nail art, but don't feel they are capable for it. When I had these on my nails throughout the day I would receive compliments and plenty of oohs and ahhs from doing simple tasks in my day from going to work, getting gas in the car, and just being out.

I will still continue to paint my nails, but for times I need something quick and easy, I will for sure turn to these.

UPDATE: I tried these a few more times and did not have too much success because they did peel near the tips. Also looking back, since once you open up the package you cannot use them again, it felt like there was a lot of waste.

A new adventure...Square Hue subscription box

So recently I have been introduced to the idea of subscription boxes. I've heard about boxes like Ipsy and Birchbox, but never really thought of subscribing to either of them. So in comes the idea of Square Hue. A monthly subscription box that costs $14.99 + $5.00 shipping in the US. The company is based out of Florida and part of the proceeds goes towards a cause which is nice.
So for the $14.99 you get 3 full size (.5 fl oz) bottles of nail polish that are eco friendly and do not have the chemicals that most other polishes do like formaldehyde for example. The colors only come for that month and can not be bought online for previous months.
The company puts out a picture related to the theme with bits of color in it to hint at what kind of colors you could be getting, you are able to pause the subscription and you do not have to make a yearly commitment. My first box will come in August and when it does, I will post it to show what the box looks like and what would be in it. Right now the picture posted is supposed to be of  Beverly Hills. There looks to be some purple, blue, and maybe a dark green. That is a guess, but we will see what happens.  I will post the link to their site so if you feel like checking it out.

This picture came from Square Hue's facebook page (I do not own this picture!). I am really excited to try this subscription and I can't wait to share what I get for my first box. I also used a coupon code that was sent to me when I signed up for the newsletter which gives me a surprise.  I have heard great things about Square Hue's customer service which help me decide on joining the subscription.
